JOHANNESBURG – South African women have been at the forefront of the country’s success in sport. 
On Saturday, Jo-Ane van Dyk bagged Team SA’s sixth medal at the Paris Olympics with a great throw in the javelin event.
Before van Dyk, Tatjana Smith was victorious in the 100m Breaststroke while also taking silver in the 200m.
